We have a plus sign!

It has been ages since I posted anything on my site. But today, I tried again to see if that little grey plus sign at the top of the Gutenberg “blocks” editor had turned to black. And, lo and behold!, it had! Yay!

So, this is my apology to all of you for not being engaged in ANY way over the last few weeks. My DH could only take so much of my growling. Well, I could only take so much of my growling. Will get to writing something meaningful real soon!

Thank you ALL for your patience and a big hello to all you new subscribers! Thanks for joining me here!

Some beautiful Koi I captured on my phone. Forgot my real camera. Sigh.

  1. I wanted to be fair and post this here as well, in case you’d like to refute. It’s a comment that I left on a lecture that you gave entitled “Faith Without God” on YouTube. Even if you never respond to me, I hope that you’ll start asking big questions and sincerely seeking answers. Take care.

“So her progressive upbringing finally landed on her professing that (ultimately) she worships herself…sorry, not shocking. Wish that she realized what a critical thinker that she is not. May God rescue her, as He did me. Atheism, especially as it is presented and upheld amongst intellectuals in the West, is a house of cards. (But) don’t start questioning them though, in their institutes and seminaries, you’ll be tried for heresy ;0)”

    1. I have written much on how my community, West Hill United, discerns the ideals that guide it. You can read what it is that the community holds most valuable, VisionWorks, those things its members literally “spend” their lives bringing about as best they are able. I had no hand in writing the last two versions. If you argue that these challenges can be easily dismissed as my worshiping myself, we have no common ground upon which we might engage.
A proof that there is no guidance in the Bible as to what to worship are the 41,000 (or so) iterations of Christianity that exist around the world, each “divining”, that is, pretending to be gods, the Bible’s most urgent truths. Are you, assuming you are one of them, convinced you have the right one?
