It is a challenge to lead in the space between belief and what lies beyond it. I have built my work on the very intentional steps taken by a real congregation experiencing real change. It hasn’t been easy, but it has been exciting and I bring the truth of both those things to my audiences.
For those within the church, I bring with me the background, understanding, and sensitivity you need to engage your congregation in the work of meeting the needs of the people around it who are looking for ways to engage with or without the god called God. And when I’m finished sharing the opportunity with them, they’ll be ready to make the shifts necessary.
For those outside the church, I can offer the wisdom of an atheist who is intimately familiar with the off-label benefits of religion and how they can be brought to an increasingly non-believing audience. Beyond our engagement, you’ll have the tools you need to create inspirational gatherings without any religious language at all.
